"The memo identifies the “domestic terrorism threat” as organizations that use “violence or the threat of violence” to advance political goals such as “opposition to law and immigration enforcement; extreme views in favor of mass migration and open borders; adherence to radical gender ideology, anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, or anti-Christianity; support for the overthrow of the United States Government; hostility towards traditional views on family, religion, and morality.”
For what is worth, these are small ideological adjustments made via legal means, slowly eroding the capacity of the population to access any mechanisms for change, AND, to slowly implement a system of networks where the population begins to find benefits in self-policing.
The anti-capitalism and anti-christianity categorization sits right at the blurred line between a possible free society and the zone of no-return into a dystopian society.
The "benefit" I mentioned above will be for many tens of millions of people the mere sense of safety.
People will begin to whisper their ideals in hiding instead of any form of public display.
Under authoritarian regimes, free minds become political dissidents, while the masses accept the ideological imprisonment without resistance.
Then, the dream of a progressive and free civilization will fall and ultimately may be forgotten.
