For a few moments I will turn off all sense and signs of humanity and put away the rage any normal human would - and should - feel looking at the pictures of Gaza today.
Let's just ignore the devastation and the indiscriminate death of infants, children, elderly, and everyone in between. (Did I write "indiscriminate death"? I apologize, I meant "indiscriminate murder.")
So let's ignore ALL that, as we have all been doing for a while, and turn our focus on a larger problem, much more dangerous and heartbreaking: the rest of us.
What GAZA shows, and teaches us, is the real power the world has against evil. The lesson is not reduced to Israel's regional claims, but instead it is an accurate reflection on how an entire planet is utterly powerless in stopping a genocide and in stopping the even more dangerous agenda that's unfolding on a global scale.
The lesson is that 8+ billion humans simply have no available mechanisms to directly come to the rescue of an oppressed group of humans. Even if they cared, they couldn't.
This points to a failed system and a politically lethargic species. What we are witnessing is how the systems - which we, the people, have accepted and surrendered our power to - fail to serve humanity as a whole. In fact, we are witnessing a "coming out" of a ruthless elite that now sits at the apex of global power.
However, behind this systemic failure, is not a flaw, but a strategy. What appears to be a failure, is actually a concerted choice, a calculated strategy functioning above the interests of humanity.
What we see, or should see, is the "other world" that exists, expands, and rules the world we think of as being ours. Gaza reveals the hierarchy of global power and our position, as regular citizens, at the bottom of it.
Gaza is a regional catastrophe, but it is also a global tragedy. Their pain and suffering is our collective international shame, but it is also a clear message that we need to keep our heads down in obedience. Or else.
Gaza is the mirror of how far our civilization really made so far after tens of thousands of years. Gaza is the true measure of the real distribution of power.
Gaza is a signal for something even darker about to be unleashed upon humanity - an implacable new way to control the destiny of our species.
Is there a solution? I believe there is ONE. Is it a realistic solution given the current economic, political, and technological circumstances? I would say that humanity has about 1% chance to avert the incoming disaster currently being planned and deployed. More so, for the heck of it, I enganged Ai in a "conversation" about this problem and the possible solutions. Ironically, Ai and myself arrived at a nearly identical solution.
2025 shapes up to be one of the most historically influential period with regards to the direction Humanity will take. The moment the world will wake up from the nightmare in the making will be a moment too late and decisively painful.
